What Does a Better Canada Look Like?
The Coalition for a Better Future co-chairs, the Hon. Anne McLellan and the Hon. Lisa Raitt, will participate in a Campus Tour event with students of Carleton University’s Political Management program. André Turcotte, Program Director of the Clayton H. Riddell Graduate Program in Political Management, will moderate the conversation.
Canada is at a critical juncture. Confidence in our system of government is eroding, and many Canadians feel disconnected from the decision-making process and uncertain about the future. These challenges demand urgent attention and present an opportunity to reimagine what a thriving, inclusive, and sustainable Canada could look like.
By engaging with students and diverse stakeholders in thoughtful dialogue and collective action, we aim to turn discontent into determination and division into unity to foster Canada’s future prosperity.
The Coalition for a Better Future believes building a more robust economy starts with young people and encourages them to define the future they desire. To achieve this, the Campus Tour series, supported by Shell Canada, brings our co-chairs to universities, colleges, and training centres across Canada to speak with the leaders of tomorrow.
