Anne McLellan and Lisa Raitt keynote speakers at University of New Brunswick’s ‘Shaping the Debate’ conference, kick off national Campus Tour
The Honourable Anne McLellan and the Honourable Lisa Raitt, Co-chairs of the Coalition for a Better Future, will discuss the urgent need to produce a pro-growth fiscal plan for the Canadian economy that's inclusive and sustainable as keynote speakers at the University of New Brunswick’s Shaping the Debate conference, Jan. 24-25.
This important event kickstarts the Coalition’s cross-country Campus Tour series to engage with Canadian youth and young leaders in the much needed conversation around strengthening the economy.
The Campus Tour, supported by Shell Canada, is part of the Coalition for a Better Future’s priority to ensure that all voices are at the table when discussing how we grow sustainably, live better and win globally.
The Coalition, a public policy organization founded in August 2021, represents 142 like-minded organizations from the private and not-for-profit sectors that recognize the need for an ambitious long-term economic plan to ensure a better future for all Canadians. It offers a policy solution through its Scorecard of 21 metrics to build the kind of economy Canada deserves to ensure our collective prosperity in the future.
