Statement on Budget 2022

The Coalition for a Better Future applauds the federal government for recognizing that economic growth is critical to the long-term prosperity of Canadians. Budget 2022 is a good first step, but what we need urgently is a comprehensive long-term plan for economic growth that is inclusive and sustainable.

The Coalition has developed a scorecard of 21 OECD metrics that if followed would ensure Canada has one of the most competitive economies in the world. The Coalition for a Better Future represents 131 organizations in the private and not-for-profit sectors ready to work with all governments to chart a course for a greater quality of life for Canadians.
